A Sacramento man scanning the night sky recently caught a sudden burst of light through his telescope. He recorded that strange sight with his smart phone. Could this be a weather balloon exploding or some kind of dump from an airplane?
Here’s a video of an exploding weather balloon that was filmed in August 2012:
The similarities are certainly there.
