We were driving east on Route 28 between Phoeonicia and Boiceville, NY, at about 6:45 PM, when in the sky in front of us we saw a white light with a green sparkly trail pass overhead going from north to south. It then disappeared over the horizon but did not seem terribly high in the sky. I never saw anything like it. That’s about it.

I saw it too in Saranac Lake, it was very inpressive. I was calling it the brightest, closest meteor I’ve ever seen. Traveling at a 45 degree angle downward. Not as quick as the typical meteors you watch in a shower. But huge & very noticeable…I came into work & had to tell people, but I still don’t know what I saw!
